He Has 15 Yrs. exp. as an Information Architect and 10 yrs. as a User Experience designer and Business Analyst capturing Software Design Specifications in a visual format utilizing MS Visio illustrations. His other strong points include documenting SharePoint Intranet Architecture & Design Standards, facilitating SP Governance Planning, and providing HCI Guidelines for MS .Net Custom Applications Development.
Rob has expert level UX Design skills in the area of IA for corporate intranets, specializing in Business Application Design, Navigation Systems, Interaction Design, Site Structure, Site Templates, and Wireframes documentation describing page layout and page flow which are provided as web site planning and design deliverables to ensure his consulting clients' work environments with an improved User Experience.
He spends most of his time drawing Wireframes and optimizing User Journeys for Corporate Intranet customers in an effort to help them design more User-Friendly Communications, Collaboration, Content Mgmt., Social & Multi-Media apps, Search-driven applications, and workflow automation within a company’s web environment and its corresponding workspaces.
He has analyzed the metadata collected from a wide variety of govt. agencies, financial services, drug research, & and public health organizations and successfully provided design patterns utilizing that information to facilitate a better storage and retrieval paradigm to improve the UX for finding docs within the integration between an image capture system, SharePoint 2010, & related network attached storage units.
For the past 5 years his focus has been on improving employee to employee communications and team productivity via social media enhancements to SharePoint and other related web content management tools.
