Sonia Dwyer is an Knowledge Management professional and HFI Certified Usability Analyst with over 20 years' combined international experience in non-government organizations (NGOs) and the private sector. In her former role as the IMF's Enterprise Information Architect, and now as the Content Lead for the Knowledge Management program, Dwyer has been involved in the development of corporate taxonomies as the foundation for metadata-enhanced knowledge sharing. More recently, she championed projects to extend this work to ontology-driven knowledge discovery.

Dwyer has also done consulting for the World Bank Group as the lead information architect and subject matter expert for Web portals and collaboration platforms.
