Janet has many years’ experience supporting a large public sector Intranet, and was interested enough in the search behaviour of the its users to research this for her Master's dissertation.

She currently describes herself as a ‘freelance volunteer’, working part-time for three charities: she has completed the first phase of the Fairtrade Intranet Project; is developing an image library for the London City Mission Communications Team; and is assisting the Valley Hospital Charity (Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust) with their new website.
