Jonathan is a specialist in information architecture and content management. He’s built and implemented content classification and metadata tagging systems for UK government agencies, global companies and influential charities.

He spent much of his 30-year career at Reuters, where he devised the classification and metadata scheme for its multimedia news and data products.


Jonathan started his own London-based information architecture consultancy, InfoArk, 15 years ago.


His projects have covered media, financial services, law, education, telecoms, healthcare, agribusiness and consumer products.


Clients have included Unilever, Dow Jones, the UK Care Quality Commission, Oxfam International, Cambridge University, law firm Clifford Chance and online retailer Shop Direct Group.


Jonathan’s talk at Taxonomy Boot Camp London 2017 will address the challenges in finding relevant information, and propose a solution based on extending the traditional multi-faceted taxonomy.
