Julia manages and curates content for and supports the development of the weADAPT knowledge-sharing platform on climate change adaptation and related issues (weadapt.org), fostering collaborations with internal and external partners and contributing towards its technical development. Julia also works on knowledge management, terminology and taxonomy related research in the Horizon 2020 project PLACARD, which seeks to enhance collaboration between the communities of research and practice around climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction, and in the Stockholm Environment Institute’s flagship Initiative on Climate Services. Julia holds a masters degree in Environmental Geoscience from Imperial College London and a DPhil in Earth Sciences from the University of Oxford.
