Thomas Gaillat is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Deputy Unit leader at Insight Centre for Data Analytics National University of Ireland Galway. His research focus is Computational Linguistics grounded in corpus analysis and NLP. Before joining Insight, he did his PhD in Linguistics at the University of Sorbonne Paris Cité. His PhD focused on corpus interoperability and referencial issues related to the use of deictics in speech. More recently, he has lead research work in the field of Computational Semantics for Sentiment Analysis. His research domains include corpus annotation and interoperability, reference, subjectivity and Machine Learning methods for linguistic analysis
