Lead Curator, Digital Mapping
British Library, UK
Jo Kent worked with metadata at the BBC for over 15 years including 5 years as a Data Architect in Research and Development. She attained a distinction in her Masters in History with a project focussed on creating maps of social diversity from historical data. Since then, she's worked for the Science Museum Group on the Congruence Engine project where she brought together and mapped the results of a range of historical research experiments. She’s now working at the British Library as Lead Curator of Digital Mapping, and is loving every minute of it.
