James “Jim” Sweeney has been working in the field of Information / Knowledge Management and Organization Systems for over 23 years. He has worked internationally on business directories, taxonomy and thesaurus development, product and software design and development, product marketing, as well as sales, account management, customer support, and training, for a broad range of clients from numerous industries over the course of his career. Jim is currently Senior Product Manager, Taxonomy & Ontology Solutions at Synaptica, LLC, a provider of taxonomy and text analytics products and services. Jim has been with Synaptica for over 13 years. Based in Denver, Colorado, Mr. Sweeney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Colorado State University - Pueblo.
